Innovation

We were also instrumental in the design of the special bearers for the switches and crossing for the Leeds Station approach for Railtrack (as was) and Balfour Beatty. Our innovative design method, utilising the latest version of AutoCAD, was developed to meet all relevant performance specifications and meant that the bearers could be manufactured to the highest standards of quality, providing unprecedented assurance of strength and durability with the minimum of rework and almost eliminating the potential for human error.

Experience

We have extensive experience of working with Network Rail and a range of contractors on network infrastructure upgrades such as the 25 kV substation renewal projects with McNicholas and we understand the need to maximise the revenue for Network Rail via higher axle loads, increased speeds and enhanced reliability.

We have an enviable reputation for innovation, coupled with our first hand knowledge of the manufacture of pre stressed concrete sleepers and pre stressed concrete crossing bearers giving us that edge over our competitors in permanent way design.
